DECISION made: Liverpool revealed their SAD plan for Trent Alexander Arnold after Real Madrid sent hard message to LFC

Real Madrid is still very interested in Trent Alexander-Arnold, so Liverpool will try to reach a deal with him before the end of the year.

Liverpool to prioritise contract talks with Trent Alexander Arnold this year amid Real Madrid swoop.

Pete O’Rourke said on Football Insider’s Inside Track show that Madrid is still interested in the right back, but they haven’t made any progress yet. He says that he is a key player in their plans to build a new “Galacticos” team. The European champions are keeping a close eye on Alexander-Arnold’s position in case they can’t come to a new deal. He only has one year left on his current contract.

Arne Slot, the new manager of Liverpool, is said to be “desperate” to keep Alexander-Arnold and has plans to meet with the player to talk about his long-term future at the club. Because he is an important part of the team and a homegrown star, the club wants him to stay at Anfield as much as possible.

It’s not a surprise that Real Madrid wants to sign Alexander-Arnold, since the back is close with Jude Bellingham, who recently joined the Spanish giants from England. Madrid wants to add the 25-year-old as their next big star player, after Kylian Mbappe and other famous players they signed this summer.

The situation with Alexander-Arnold now is a lot like when Steve McManaman left Liverpool for Real Madrid in 1999. Both players were important to Liverpool and were local stars who were loved by fans. We hope that’s the only thing they have in common.

Trent doesn’t have anything more to gain at Liverpool, but he is from the area and knows what it means to wear the famous red shirt. The 25-year-old’s desire to wear the captain’s shirt and lead his home team out should be a big part of the talks, and a winning team should still be put together around him. Michael Owen and Steven Gerrard were both from the area, but they made very different choices. It’s likely that Trent will know how the Reds fans feel about the history of both of those players.

It’s hard for us to believe that Liverpool will wait until the end of the year to sign Trent to a new deal. The study should only be used as a guide for now. It should be the 25-year-old’s contract right now, and it would be surprising if the club wasn’t already putting all of their efforts into it.
