Following their 2-1 defeat by Spain in the final of the Euro 2024, Gareth Southgate’s team wasted little time in returning to the UK from Germany.

Players were seen leaving the Berlin Ritz Carlton Hotel earlier after their 2-1 loss to Spain in the Euro 2024 final.

Gareth Southgate waved to the supporters who had gathered to support the team while holding a drink in one hand.

As the England players and staff proudly left Berlin, the hotel staff also gave them admiration.

The manager, whose status as England’s manager is still in doubt, led by example as his players embarked on their return trip to England.

When someone asked him about his future plans, he responded, “It is not the right time for me to talk about that.” I need to talk to the right people and give myself some space.

“Being able to move on to another final was an honour. However, it is challenging to come up short at the moment.

A few players were taken aback as Harry Kane and Southgate bravely waved to the spectators.

Phil Foden waved and looked clearly upset despite his pain.

People like Luke Shaw and Bukayo Saka seemed unhappy as they got on the bus.

English fans won’t get to meet the team when they reach back to London, even though they welcomed them at the hotel in Berlin.

“England’s players and staff will be travelling back on a charter flight,” the FA said in a statement confirming the decision to fly privately.

The Three Lions suffered a devastating defeat as they lost the Euro final for the second consecutive year.

Teen sensation Lamine Yamal put the ball into Nico Williams of Spain, who opened the score a minute into the second half.

A sudden upsurge in English involvement occurred in the game after Cole Palmer’s equaliser in the 73rd minute.

But in the 86th minute, the Three Lions suffered late heartbreak due to Mikel Oyarzabal’s header from a Marc Cucurella cross.

England attempted to equalise late in the game when Dani Olmo cleared Marc Guehi’s header off the line, but the Three Lions ultimately came up short.
