Vinicius Jr., a distinguished player for Real Madrid and Brazil, has been appointed as Pepsi’s most recent global ambassador. He does this in an effort to imitate his fellow Brazilian and inspiration, Ronaldinho. The series, which was developed in partnership with Art of Football, is a tribute to the brand’s football advertisements from the early 2000s.

Pepsi and football have a rich and sentimental history, thanks to over two decades of well-known football advertisements. Train stations, mediaeval battlegrounds, and other locations will be traversed by international football players, including Roberto Carlos, Totti, Henry, Beckham, and Ronaldinho. Despite the presence of numerous well-known personalities, gifted individuals, and guests, the most recent TV commercial, “Nutmeg Royale,” pays tribute to some of the most iconic early advertising for the brand.
That was 20 years ago, and to commemorate that era, Pepsi collaborated with football players to create a line that served as the ideal introduction for Vinicius Jr., the company’s newest worldwide brand ambassador.
The Pepsi x [AoF] collection debuted the year before the Golden Cabane collection, which featured retro-inspired items in remembrance of Pepsi’s renowned football competition, which dates back 20 years. Tote bags, shoulder bags, and bucket hats are among the accessories from the collection that feature two or more brands. A replica of Pepsi’s football shirts from the early 2000s completes the ensemble.
Those with keen eyes could have seen the new uniform in the delightfully satirical “Nutmeg Royale” commercial, which has the legendary Ronaldinho playing once more. One of the most captivating football players in the world, Vincius Jr., is set to join Pepsi as their newest global brand ambassador. He will collaborate with fellow Argentinean Lionel Messi.
