Rodrygo of Real Madrid tried to hide the fact that the Selecao had a terrible game.

Rodrygo played very well at times, but Brazil’s 1-1 draw with the USMNT in a game before the Copa America was disappointing.

The careless play around the Real Madrid player made up for it, and it was especially clear while Endrick was warming up as the Selecao’s only goal maker.

In the fifth minute, Yunus Musah hit the post with a shot, giving the USMNT their best chance of the game right away. Rodrygo’s shot into the lower corner behind the home team’s defenders, however, was the first to score.

The USMNT’s answer, though, came from Christian Pulisic with a sharp free kick that went into the bottom corner. It got better in Brazil after the break. Rodrygo tried to bicycle kick the ball, but it missed the goal. As soon as Endrick came into the game, he ran towards goal and was very close to scoring. Pulisic had a chance to make it 2-1 with ten metres to go, but his shot went straight at the goalie.

Not long after that, Rodrygo hit his man again, but Turner stopped him from getting a fair response. And in their last Copa America warm-up game, the guests had to settle for a slightly disappointing draw because the USMNT held out Brazil under a lot of pressure.
