Gordon teamed up with Jack Growlish, Gallagher joined with Harry Canine, and Rice partnered with Collie Watkins in an event that was more paw-paw-two than 4-4-2. However, two of the players’ attempts turned out to be as appetising as dog food. Each of the three has their own hounds. Newcastle player Gordon, 23, said of his pets, “My dogs don’t listen to me.””However, they are good; they have positive energy.”Gallagher, a 23-year-old star player for Chelsea, described his puppy as “not the most intelligent but he can jump up on his back two legs which is always quite cute.”It was the most recent in a humorous series of videos featuring English celebrities that also appeared on Countdown and Bake Off.However, manager Gareth Southgate has found less comedy in injuries to his defenders.
