Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko officially becomes the new ambassador for Skechers, unveiling their latest Diamond-Ice shoe model

To its all-star roster of elite players—which already includes Harry Kane, the greatest scorer in Europe—Skechers adds Oleksandr Zinchenko, a defender for Premier League Arsenal and the Ukrainian national team. Zinchenko will be competing in the Skechers Razor, a groundbreaking lightweight speed boot. It is designed for players who like comfort, touch, and agility. A long-term relationship with the global shoe company will see Zinchenko promoting Skechers Football in their multiplatform marketing initiatives. He also was one of the first to wear the Diamond Ice Pack’s Razor boots, which made their debut this past week in a fresh shade of white.

“Sketchers may be relatively new to football, but they’re doing everything right, and I really appreciate how much their team focuses on working with athletes to create the perfect boot,” said Oleksandr Zinchenko. “The ‘Razor’ is incredibly comfortable and gives me the performance I need on the field; this is without a doubt the best boot I have ever worn.” I’m grateful to be a member of the Skechers team and am eager to help the company grow within our sport.”

Vice President of Merchandising and Product Development at Skechers Performance “The world has watched Harry Kane have amazing success, scoring more goals this season than any top league player in Europe—in Skechers boots,” Greg Smith continued. “Since launching Skechers Football in August, the reception has been incredible.” It was an appropriate assertion. Zinchenko, a premier league defender of the highest caliber, is joining our club and will be a perfect match for our striker. Our team is a prime illustration of how Skechers Football boots blend performance, comfort, and innovation. The company offers a large selection of boots for players of various positions and types on the field.

Harry Kane, a striker for Bayern Munich, was signed by Skechers Football to launch the brand as the 2023–24 campaign got underway. One of the three styles in Skechers Footwear’s boot collection that has recently reached the field and retail spaces is the brand-new white Diamond Ice Pack. For both men and women, each style comes in a variety of colors. The Skechers Razor, which Oleksandr Zinchenko is sporting, is a lightweight, energy-returning sneaker that was inspired by explosive track technology. On the court, it has a carbon fiber soleplate for agility and reactivity. The distinctive last of the SKX 01, which is made to optimize comfort and offer a snug fit, helps Harry Kane strike the ball with more accuracy and improves his touch on the field. Not only are there low-profile options for both boots, but the SKX_01 also comes in a high-top version.

Skechers continues expansion into football with new ambassadorIn his professional football career, Oleksandr Zinchenko started out as an offensive midfielder for the Russian club Ufa. In 2016, he moved to left-back for Manchester City of the Premier League, where he helped the club win four league titles, four EFL Cups, and an FA Cup. Zinchenko is now in his second season after signing with Arsenal of the Premier League in 2022. Since 2015, he has also been a member of the Ukrainian national team, earning approximately 60 caps.
