‘Investigate him’ – Arsenal fans angry Son Heung-min when Tottenham captain missed a ‘UNBELIEVABLE’ chances and smiled with Pep after Man City clash leaving Arteta’s squad almost no hope of winning the EPL

Arsenal fans are furious with Son Heung-min and have told the Tottenham star he has ‘blood on his hands’ for a missed chance against Manchester City.

The Gunners desperately needed their north London rivals to do them a favour against Pep Guardiola’s men but they suffered a 2-0 defeat on Tuesday night.

Arsenal can still win on the last day of the Premier League this season, but City’s victory puts them squarely in the driver’s seat.

Although Son is still in the running for the title, Arsenal supporters are not happy with him after he squandered a great chance to tie the score prior to Erling Haaland’s second goal.

In the 86th minute, when City only had a one-goal lead, Spurs captain Son was played clean through on goal and looked almost certain to score.

Daniel Sturridge, working as a pundit for Sky Sports, watched Son’s missed chance and said: ‘Look at his body shape. There’s only one place he’s going to put it.

‘Look at the goalkeeper, how low he is, he doesn’t move and he is patient. He is waiting. It’s very difficult for Son to go for the near post.’

Jamie Carragher, working on commentary duties, watched Son’s missed chance live and added: ‘Arsenal fans all over the world are two-footing the television!’
