Fans criticized Casemiro for his peculiar behavior leading up to the goal.
KAAI HAVERTZ said he was taken aback by what Casemiro was doing prior to Arsenal’s victory over United.
The German’s quick thinking created the opportunity for a goal, which Leandro Trossard finished with Havertz’s low cross.

As Arsenal made sure the title would be determined on the last day of the season, that turned out to be the lone goal of the match.
However, Havertz’s resourcefulness and Casemiro’s ponderous defense were the only things that made it happen.
The Arsenal player said that he swiftly made sure the ball was moved forward to Casemiro after spotting him out of position and playing him onside.
“I looked to my right and saw him still on the 6-yard line and I called Ben [White] and he saw me straight away,” Havertz said to Sky Sports following the game.
“Then it was a one vs one situation and this guy [Leandro Trossard] scored.”‘
With their victory, Arsenal is still in the running for the championship, but they must concede points to its rivals, Manchester City.
Tuesday’s match between Pep Guardiola’s team and Tottenham is scheduled, and Havertz has disclosed that he would be supporting his fellow North London team.
He said: “I’m gonna be the biggest Tottenham fan ever on Tuesday.”
Whatever happens to the Premier League title, Arsenal has had an incredible season, breaking two records in their matchup with United.
With 89 goals scored this season, a new record, Mikel Arteta’s team has already won 27 league games, their greatest return in a single season.
