Although Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid and superstar Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich are great friends off the field, they will face off as bitter rivals on it the following week on April 30 at the Allianz Arena in the first leg of the Champions League semifinals.

There is no denying the mutual regard between the two legends of the Bundesliga; Bellingham was recently praised by Musiala, who called him one of the world’s greatest footballers.

Through @iMiaSanMia, Jamal Musiala was questioned about who he believed to be the finest player in the world right now. The German international selected Kylian Mbappe, a future star for Real Madrid, and his present teammate Harry Kane as the other two candidates, with Jude Bellingham listed as one of them.

Given his humility, Musiala might think about including himself on the shortlist as well. With 10 goals, 6 assists, and amazing dribbling from the 10 position, Musiala is right there with Kane, Mbappe, and Bellingham as a genuine Ballon d’Or candidate this season, despite Bayern’s setbacks in the 2023–24 Bundesliga. 

Bellingham, who has 17 goals and 4 assists from midfield, including numerous crucial goals in El Clasico, is the clear favorite to win the Ballon d’Or. Bellingham and Real Madrid, along with the other three outstanding players included in this article, have advanced to the Champions League semifinals.

Musiala’s general assessment is correct. There are so many amazing football players with different attributes that it is really hard to choose only one as the greatest player in the world.

Include Bellingham’s current teammate Vinicius Junior and Erling Haaland, a Bayern opponent and former teammate, on that shortlist as well.
