The Swoosh took over Paris this weekend for a special launch event with Jadon Sancho of England and Man Utd to show off their new type of Mercurial shoes.

To commemorate the release of the “New Lights” and “Under The Radar” colorways of the Mercurial Superfly 7 and Vapor 13, Nike threw another massive party in Paris. The Women’s World Cup Final in Lyon, further south, on Sunday will mark the debut of these boots. To usher in a new era of Nike speed, fast players for the USA and Holland will be donning the blue “New Lights” drop. Prior to that, however, the Swoosh pulled off a mercurial hit set in Paris.

In the charming Nanterre area of Paris, there was drone delivery of the Mercurial, men’s and women’s international players, and fast-paced football on a blue field. It was the ideal way to wrap up one season and begin a new one. Jadon Sancho, Andressa Alves, and Caroline Graham of Brazil all played on the field prior to Nike designers discussing the details of the upcoming Mercurial project.
