Vini Jr. embraces the sneaker shopping challenge: Playfully teases the high stakes of a $23,000 sneaker spree on Complex’s Show

The life of Vinicius Jr., the standout player for Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team, is very different from his childhood in Brazil. During the interview for the “Sneaker Shopping” feature on the Complex channel, this was one of the topics discussed.

In the video, the Brazilian talked about a “obstacle” in choosing a model. Vini has been an athlete sponsored by Nike for nearly a decade, and she has amassed a collection of over 120 pairs.

After choosing the newest piece in his collection, an Air Jordan 1 Retro High Fragment Design created in collaboration with artist Travis Scott, the musician cracked jokes with a store employee and asked if he had found what he was searching for.

“I don’t have much to buy because I already have almost all of them,” he joked. Vinicius selected a model that would cost him approximately R$23,436 (R$4,730).

The project’s stars are taken to a posh sneaker shop to shop. Notable people like Neymar and Lewis Hamilton also called Complex home.
