With Lauren Fryer, his childhood sweetheart and longtime girlfriend, the Arsenal footballer was expecting a child.

With a new tattoo on his arm that was visible during West Ham United’s Premier League loss last season, it seems that they are now parents to a boy.

It looked from Rice’s tattoo that their child, Jude Rice, was born on August 7.

In addition to encircling his left arm in a cursive font, his tattoo appears to contain the words “Nothing else matters.”

Although Rice, 25, and Fryer began dating seven years ago, the team captain and his companion usually keep their personal lives quiet.

They frequently enjoy their relationship away from the spotlight, therefore they haven’t made any public comments about the rumors of a recent arrival.

Fryer has previously published cute photos with her partner to capture happy moments, like riding jet skis in Ibiza and snuggling their puppy, even though they keep their love life private.

After a game in July of last year, Fryer wrote a heartfelt note to her fiance expressing how much he had “done our country so proud.”

“This competition has been the most challenging yet amazing experience of your career thus far, and I will always remember encouraging you from the start,” she said.

“I’ve enjoyed every second of witnessing your success and happiness.” You are the reason that your family, your friends, and I have all made memories that will last a lifetime!

Although the outcome wasn’t what we had all expected, sometimes the journey is just as significant—and what an incredible, life-altering adventure that was! Dec, you’ve accomplished so much, it would be an understatement to say I’m proud of you.
